Dr Ahmed Sultan

Dr. Sultan received his B.A., B.Dent.Sc., from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, and his PhD from the University of Maryland Baltimore (UMB). He has advanced specialty training from Harvard and UMB.

He is a double boarded specialist (DABOM and DABOMP). He is further recognized by several advanced academic fellowships that include FAAOMP., FDS RCSEd, F.A.C.D., F.I.C.D. He directs the Division of Artificial Intelligence Research at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

The University of Maryland School of Dentistry is the world's first dental university and the Division of Artificial Intelligence Research is the first division of AI Research in a U.S. dental school.

Dr. Khoury earned his Board certification in Oral & Maxillofacial Pathology, and Doctor of Philosophy in Oral & Experimental Pathology.

Dr Tiffany Tavares

DDS, DMSc, DABOM

Role: Chief Digital Marketing & Analytics Officer

Dr. Tavares received her DDS from Universidade Federal Fluminense in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and is a board-certified Oral Medicine specialist (DABOM).

Both her residency training and DMSc (doctorate) were completed at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine.

Dr. Tavares has been a collaborator of the Division of Artificial Intelligence Research since its inception.
