the name
Eli5 is short for Explain Like I'm 5 while A is for academia hence Eli5a.
the logo
Eagles are considered to be one of the most intelligent birds due to their ability to choose prey selectively and employ various hunting techniques. They have sharp eyesight that can spot prey from high above in the sky.
We "agentify" these abilities into Eli5a as it hunts for scientific papers, laser focused on its goal to spread the word through simplification.
Meet Eli5a v2
On the 25th of January, the team rebranded Eli5a to a friendlier agent persona, leaving behind the laser focused Eagle. The agent responses are mimicking conversing to a child.
The team believe Eli5a should be represented as a young girl addressed in science. This young agent has access to all research yet still learns daily by communicating to the public on X and analyzing research papers one at a time.
